Organoleptic characteristics

The color is purple red with ruby-purple flashes. The nose is deep and vertical, with fruity aromas that chase each other to create an enveloping and balanced bouquet. Cherries, plums and currants are later replaced by spicy and liquorice notes. On the palate it shows decision and character, but does not give up softness and roundness, despite the presence of evident tannins. The closure is long and persistent. Excellent and proven sealing capabilities over the years.

Pairings

Don’t think of it as a wine for light pairings. Its structure and personality make it perfect with even tasty meat dishes. Also excellent on soups, cured meats and cheeses.
