Organoleptic characteristics

Dark red, deep and somewhat bright (for a nebbiolo).
At once earthy and well-bred, with a hint of dried fruit (walnut) obscured by mineral and resinous nuances.
Offbeat with respect to the bouquet, with all the sweetness of red berry fruits, strawberry and cherry. The tannic texture combines with the palate in a show of youthfulness. Still dry and bittery on the finish it leaves in its wake an uncompromisingly Piedmontese memory of fullness and ruggedness.

Pairings

Barolo easily pairs with the typical dishes of its territory, but the best combination is fatty meat dishes, roasts, braised and boiled meats.
