The town of Dogliani is easily reached from the streets of the Langhe, (from Barolo, Monforte d’Alba, or Belvedere Langhe). We can also be reached from the ‘valley’ between Monchiero and Farigliano. The countryside is comprised of picturesque hills, where vineyards alternate with fields of cereals, meadows, and lush forests. |
|
San Luigi is the largest of the hills towards Doglianese to Monforte. Shortly before reaching the top of the hill on the right you can take a non-asphalted road which leads to our farmhouse.

| Where we are |
On the hills of Dogliani,, in the area of San Luigi, in the mid-1700’s, Ignatius Corte, Count of Bonvicino and Grand Chancellor of Savoy, built the main body of Cascina Corte on the seniorities of a monastery.
Cascina Corte looks to the South-West of the Carrù plateau, and in the distance we see the Maritime Alps, and slopes of Monviso. In the North-East the landscape is more intimate, and nestled in the background of the beautiful countryside is the ancient town of Monforte.
If you enjoy the rolling hills, and spectacular views of the Langhe, Cascina Corte will take your breath away. |
